At ReN, a credit equals one successful AI extraction on a document, widget or chat. Whenever you use a custom prompt to find a specific data point or text snippet from a company’s source files, one credit is used.
On average 5,000 ReN credits is enough to query about 50 documents every month (based on a 50-page average). Since every project is unique, your actual usage might vary slightly based on how long your documents are and what you're asking. Credits are spent on conversational analysis, research and document interrogation
For Basic, Pro, and Pro Plus plans, you'll need to wait for your next billing cycle for credits to refresh, or upgrade to the next tier if necessary. Enterprise customers can reach out to the sales team to explore upgrade options.
Each month, your account is refreshed with a set allowance of download credits (15, 50, or 100) based on your selected plan. One credit typically equals one CSV document download. While a standard CSV document costs 1 credit, exceptionally large or data-heavy filings may consume more. You can monitor your current balance and usage at any time via your Usage Tracker.

Yes, you can change your plan at any time. For monthly plans, upgrade instantly, and get pro-rated credits. For annual plans, just pay the difference — no waiting required. Downgrading? No problem. For monthly plans, your changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. For annual plans, you will recieve a credit for the unused portion of your plan.
All plans give you full access to the ReN platform. Basic, Pro and Pro Plus are self-service monthly subscriptions ideal for individuals- sign up instantly, pay monthly, cancel anytime. Annual plans - these are 12-month commitments. At ReN you are never "stuck" in a plan that is too big for you, you can downgrade or pause your plan for 30 days. Credits can be used towards your renewal or an upgrade.
